Jordyn Samuels is an Activist and Educator from Toronto, doing advocacy work and education around LGBTQ+ Social Justice related issues since 2006. She currently holds a Honours Bachelor of Arts Degree from University of Toronto where she double-majored in Equity Studies and Sexual Diversity Studies. She has worked with agencies such as the Griffin Centre, Toronto Public Health and Supporting Our Youth over a multitude of research and educational programs. Jordyn is also the creator and Lead Equity Consultant of Journeys InEquity. Journeys InEquity specializes in providing education around Equity, Anti-Oppression, Anti-Black Racism, and LGBTQ+ education to schools, workplaces and communities.
